Hi, I'm Wendy Hermes and along with my husband, Dan we started our business in 2006.  I have had an interest and love for animals since I was a child and have had many types of pets. I love caring for them and they seem to know this. We started our venture for the purpose of saving tax dollars but have quickly taken to all the aspects of this business.  The day to day care is very simple yet rewarding.  These alpacas make me smile if not outright laugh everyday.  The stories I could tell....anyway....there are so many different aspects to raising alpacas that anyone can find their niche.

Our goal is to build a strong herd by carefully purchasing alpacas with sought after bloodlines, superior conformation with a focus on fleece fineness. The soft handle and fineness of a fleece is the most important aspect needed for the products made.  We feel that if we have locked in the fineness, there will always be a high dollar market for our products. Through our breeding program we have been able to add additional desired traits such as density, crimp character, staple length, etc...  Every cria born should have a genetic improvement and we are very pleased with our progress.

We offer great customer service to those who are already established and those who are just beginning. Come and visit us for we enjoy showing our animals and talking about them and the industry.
